Peter Tulley, a nice guy going through an ugly divorce, literally stumbles upon a stolen work of art. Does this sculpture carry a curse? When Peter tries to return it to the rightful authorities all hell breaks loose. He's a fly caught in the webs of ravenous spiders. The bad guys, the police, the media and an irate art world are after him. Urged on by a zany woman and a neurotic art critic, Peter declares war, sheds his “nice guy” persona and using some of San Francisco's most colorful and exotic locations weaves a web of his own.
